We originally split the survey into 11 different areas with Area 1 at the top of the valley around Cockley Beck and Area 10 at the southern end from the Corney Fell road. Astute mathematicians will be wondering about the extra area. A number of late entries to the survey meant we had to split Area 9 into two with Area 9 North from the Newfield Inn to Kiln Bank and Area 9 South from Hoses Farm down towards Broughton Mills.
